Towering proudly over the city: the castle ruins of Burg Landshut, once summer residence of the electors of Trier. One of them was even cured of a serious illness while on vacation. By which? Wine, of course. Which is why it is still called “Berncasteler Doctor” and is one of the most famous and therefore most expensive vineyards in the world. What does that have to do with our – maybe soon with your – holiday apartment? Well, you can comfortably view the castle ruins from your living space and thus enjoy a rather rare view in the Moselle town.
Speaking of the view: The picturesque old town of Bernkastel is a magnet for visitors from near and far. No wonder, because only a few cities have been able to retain their historical core to this day, and it is very rare to marvel at such a magnificent half-timbered backdrop on such a large scale. This is especially true for the Bernkasteler Marktplatz, which you have the best view from our second holiday apartment.
The outlook?
Very well indeed. You are living above everything else namely the top floor. With slight inclines that create a cozy atmosphere and plenty of space for yourself. The location of the apartment in the district of Kues is quiet and yet very central: It is only a few minutes’ walk to the Moselle Park and the city center with the bridge to the old town. Everything you need, shops, service providers and restaurants are part of the package. And the Moselle cycle path, which connects the most beautiful places along the river, is even closer.
The setup?
The Holiday Home has about 80 square meters and lays quite centrally in the Kues district of the wine metropolis Bernkastel-Kues at the Moselle. It is located on the second floor and consists of a living room with a view of the castle, two bedrooms, a kitchen with a balcony and a bathroom. It offers space for 2 to 6 people. The kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine is of course fully equipped. A TV is available in the living room and in the bedroom. And your vehicles?
